Rep. Dave Clark proposes to cut legislative retirement benefits. Good for him! Service is an honor, not an entitlement.

Confucius said: "He who wishes to secure the good of others, has already secured his own.". Abandoning the retirement benefits held by legislators is a noble move to better secure the good of others (taxpayers) and certainly in doing so they secure their own.
